Nazar chain harness

I have always been fascinated and drawn to the what we often refer to as The evil eye but is in fact the ocular eye amulet.

The evil eye itself is actually a curse whereas the eye ocular amulet or sometimes referred to as a bazar is there to dispel the curse and offer protection.

The curse of the evil eye stems from the belief that someone who achieves great success or recognition also attracts the envy of those around them. That envy in turn manifests itself as a curse that will undo their good fortune. The eye of Horus or blue glass beads that we use today have taken on many different forms for centuries as a form of protection or to ward off this negative energy. This symbol has been used by The romans, Greeks, Egyptians and many others so we see this eye symbol reflected in many ways.

The specific Nazar piece I found in a market in Turkey roughly 10 years ago and hadn’t quite figured out what do with it. I knew it had to be special and front and centre so it felt perfect for this chain harness.

There is one small evil eye missing but this isn’t noticeable.

This piece is adjustable at the back of neck and centre back. Due to the placement of the Nazar pendent it would suit a smaller chest so that the piece does not shelf out across the chest.

It could fit any size but would be best suited to a small A, B or small C cup size.
